WHO IS LAURA?
Laura is a dynamically engaging speaker, author, podcaster, grief educator, and women's advocate who has been teaching and serving for over over thirty years.
She is the founder of The 3 O'Clock Wake Up Call, a nonprofit organization igniting the faith of people around the world every day at 3:00p.m. - the hour Jesus died on the cross.
She is also co-host of The Soul Enchilada podcast, where she tackles relevant women's issues with compassion, supportive therapy, authentic faith strategies, and a healthy dose of humor.
In addition, Laura supports bereaved women as a grief and faith coach, both in her own private practice at griefandhope.org, as well as a facilitator of grief groups with world-renowned grief expert David Kessler.
After the death by suicide of her 23 year-old son, Laura poured herself into understanding the process of grief and recovery. As a Certified Grief Educator, she guides women through their unique grief journeys towards renewed hope and healing.
Are you a hot mess? Welcome to the club! On the Soul Enchilada podcast, Laura and licensed therapist Christine Ruth tackle the real issues women are facing. With a blend of honesty, compassion, and humor, they hold nothing back in a mix of "free counseling" and conversation over coffee.
Laura founded The 3 O'Clock Wake Up Call women's ministry in 2006 to help women build a vibrant faith that connects them to God's PRESENCE around them, POWER within them, and PLANS for their lives. Through Faith Studies, live teaching, and one-day conferences, Laura has helped thousands of women build Biblically centered relationships and authentic communities.
